Overview
Department of Endocrinology in Government Medical college Jammu, caters to multiple Endocrine patients, suffering from from diabetes mellitus, thyroid disorders, adrenal, pituitary, PCOD, disorders of sexual developement , and various other Hormonal disorders.
The department regularly organizes CMEs and conferences to update regarding recent advances in field of Endocrinology constantly.
The department also has special opds such as pedicatric endocrinology OPD in SMGS hospital, obesity clinic on Friday, in addition to routine endocrine opd on wednesday and thursday. The department also does minimally invasive procedures such as FNA of thyroid gland, ethanol ablation of cystic thyroid nodules.
